Former Bolivian President: Russia’s Sputnik Vaccine is a victim of a ‘dirty’ media war

Former Bolivian President Evo Morales said that the Russian “Sputnik V” vaccine against the emerging corona virus has become a victim of a “dirty” media war.

Morales wrote in a tweet on Twitter: “There is a dirty media war against the Russian Vaccine, Sputnik V, which our President Louis Ars guaranteed to supply to Bolivia in a timely manner, and this threatens people’s right to health and life,” according to what the Russian “RT” website published Monday.

“We condemn (the parties) that attack the vaccine for ideological reasons, based on political and economic motives,” Morales added.

On 30 December, Ars announced that his country’s authorities had signed a contract to supply the Russian vaccine, “Sputnik V”, to Bolivia.

According to the Russian Direct Investment Fund, there are talks about 2.6 million doses of this drug.
