Reports of desperate attempts in the US Congress to stop plans to sell US “F-35” fighters to the United Arab Emirates

A report spoke of desperate attempts in the US Congress to stop plans to sell the US F-35 fighter jets, which are multi-purpose, to the United Arab Emirates.

Reports from Washington indicating that, the deal may be concluded against the backdrop of Arab-Israeli normalization, while circles in the United States fear the secrecy of advanced US equipment, and some there fear that the UAE could share the secrets of the F-35 fighter with the Russian side.

The electronic newspaper considered that the second valid reason is that this US fighter (in the event that its secrets are revealed to the Russians) can help in learning Russian equipment how to shoot it down in different combat conditions.

The report pointed out that the initiative bill of members of the US Congress from the Republican and Democratic parties aims to grant Israel the right of veto against any arms deal concluded by the US administration with other countries in the Middle East.

Rumors have appeared in the United States, claiming that Moscow and Abu Dhabi are ready to work together in developing a fifth-generation fighter.
