The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that an Israeli bombardment targeted sites of pro-Iranian forces at dawn on Friday, in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
The British-based source said, in a statement obtained by the German News Agency (DPA), “Violent explosions rocked the city of Aleppo and its countryside after midnight Thursday – Friday, resulting from a new Israeli bombardment on Syrian territory, The Israeli missiles targeted the defense factories area near the city of al Sifera in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, where the pro-Iranian forces are located, and the air defenses tried to confront the missiles and were able to shoot down some of them.
The Syrian Official News Agency (SANA) reported early Friday morning that the Syrian air defenses dropped a number of Israeli missiles before they reached their targets east of Aleppo.
The Syrian Observatory had stated that, on the third of this month, warplanes had targeted Iranian forces and their affiliated forces in the eastern countryside of Deir al Zour, killing 9 of those forces and wounding others.
On the same day, the Syrian Observatory indicated that an aerial bombardment by warplanes was likely to be Israeli, targeting a site belonging to the “Iraqi Hezbollah” forces in the eastern countryside of Deir al Zour on the third of this month, killing 7 members.
On the second of this month, the observatory stated that an Israeli air strike targeted the campus of T4 Airport in the eastern countryside of Homs, in addition to Iranian sites at the same area.
