For his part, the French-speaking website Sudinfo said that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discovered in the Black Sea the largest natural gas field in his country’s history.
In Germany, the newspaper “Bild” said that Erdogan described the discovery of natural gas in the Black Sea as “the new era of the nation”.
“Turkey has discovered 320 billion cubic meters of gas in the Black Sea, and there is evidence of other reserves in the region,” the economic newspaper Handelsblatt quoted Erdogan as saying.
The “DBA” news website indicated that Turkey reached a natural gas resource while searching for raw materials in the Black Sea.
In Greece, the news website “Sky” dealt with the news under the title: “Cries of joy for Erdogan,” pointing out that the Turkish lira has temporarily recovered.
The “Energia” news website on energy issues, pointed out that Turkey has discovered 320 billion cubic meters of gas, and that it will start using it from 2023.

As stated, “TSN” Ukrainian news site, that Turkey has discovered the largest natural gas field in its history, pointing out that the discovery would not only contribute to reducing Turkey’s gas import, but could also make it an exporting country.
In the United States, the Wall Street Journal ran the headline: “Turkey is counting on a large natural gas field to support its economy”.
The Associated Press dealt with the news, saying, “Turkey has discovered a large natural gas field in the Black Sea,” referring to President Erdogan’s statements when he stated, “We are determined to solve the energy issue in the country from its roots”.
For its part, the agency “Reuters”, said that “Erdogan announces a historic discovery of natural gas in the Black Sea”.
Reuters added that the discovery may be the beginning of the discovery of larger fields, which will rid Turkey of dependence in the field of energy to countries such as Russia, Iran and Azerbaijan.
