Gantz advises Nasrallah and Lebanon against crossing the red lines for him personally and for the country of Lebanon

The Israeli Defense Minister, Benny Gantz, warned on Sunday, the Secretary General of the Lebanese “Hezbollah” Hassan Nasrallah of the danger of “crossing the red lines” for him personally and for the country of Lebanon.

“If Nasrallah thinks of breaking the red lines, he will get a painful response that will remind him of the high readiness of the state of Israel and will endanger the state of Lebanon,” Gantz, the acting prime minister, said in a recorded statement released by his office.

Gantz stressed that Nasrallah would bear responsibility for any step that would come from his side against Israel.

This came on the back of reports that Gantz issued an order to the Israeli army to destroy vital Lebanese facilities in the event that Hezbollah carried out any retaliatory attack against soldiers or citizens, in response to the killing of one of its officers near Damascus by an Israeli raid recently.
