Thousands of Israelis demonstrated, on Saturday, in various cities and regions of the country, demanding the resignation of their Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to local media.
The Israeli Kan channel said that thousands of Israelis demonstrated in the main streets and intersections of Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Herzliya, Latrun, Upper Galilee and other areas to demand Netanyahu’s resignation.
According to Kan channel, the Jerusalem demonstration was organized in front of Netanyahu’s residence, on Balfour Street.
The demonstrators raised slogans including: “Netanyahu is corrupt”, “Bibi (Netanyahu nickname) is tired”, and “Get out of here”.
The demonstration in Jerusalem was organized by the “Black Banners” movement.
The “Black Banners”, a popular protest movement, was launched last March to express the rejection of Netanyahu’s monopoly, managing the Coronavirus pandemic crisis.
In addition, Netanyahu is facing charges of three corruption cases, and his first trial session began last May.
