The Syrian newspaper “Al Watan” published the first scenes of the destruction caused by the Israeli strikes this morning, on points in the Syrian province of Hama.
The photos published by the Syrian newspaper on its official page on Facebook show the great destruction caused by the raids in some installations, buildings and metal structures that were subjected to vandalism and complete destruction.
The Syrian newspaper did not refer to the nature of these buildings, their dependency and location, the amount of losses, or the occurrence of victims or injured people in their publishers.
On Tuesday, a reporter for the Hama countryside agency reported that the Israeli aggression that targeted several points in the eastern Hama countryside, resulted in the wounding of 3 civilians, as a result of shrapnel, and the wounded were transferred to Al Salamiyah National Hospital.
The reporter quoted a field source as saying that the missiles that targeted the sites were from the Syrian-Iraqi border, and were likely from the Al Tanf area, which is controlled by the US forces.
The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced today, Wednesday, that its air defenses had responded to an Israeli aggression against a number of its military sites in Hama countryside.
In a statement published on its website by a military source, the Syrian defense said that “at 00:45 hours the Israeli enemy carried out a new air aggression targeting several locations of the Syrian army in Salamiya and Al Saburah in Hama countryside”.
The Syrian defense added that, “immediately after the discovery of hostile missiles, the air defense media dealt with them and worked to pursue and target them, and to drop a large number of them before reaching their targets, as the damage was limited to the materials”.
