Putin: Russia has passed the height of the Coronavirus outbreak and June 24 was the date for the military parade of the 75th anniversary of the victory over Nazism

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday that his country has passed the peak of the Coronavirus outbreak.

He added during a meeting with his Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, through the technology of “video conference”, that the situation in general in Russia is stable in terms of the spread of the pandemic.

He noted that, according to expert opinions, Russia has surpassed the peak of the virus.

In a continuing context, Putin announced that the military parade on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Soviet Union’s victory over Nazism during World War II will take place in Moscow on June 24.

As of Tuesday morning, Russia recorded 362,342 cases of Coronavirus, of whom 3,807 died, compared to the recovery of 131,129.

The capital, Moscow, comes at the forefront of Russian cities in terms of victims of the virus, and the number of infected people reached 169,303, of whom 2,110 died.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the number of people infected with corona in the world exceeded 5 million and 618 thousand, of whom more than 348 thousand died, and more than two million and 393 thousand recovered, according to the “WorldMeter” website that specializes in monitoring the victims of the virus.
