The assassination of a prominent official in the pursuit of spies and agents of the Lebanese Hezbollah in southern Lebanon

A news report announced today, Sunday, the assassination of Muhammad Ali Yunus, a leader of Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.

The semi-official Iranian agency, Fars, quoted unnamed sources as saying that this Hezbollah leader was responsible for going after agents and spies.

The Lebanese National Media Agency reported last night that a dead body was found with gunshot wounds and stab wounds on the road between the towns of Qaqiyat Al Jisr and Zutar Al Gharbiya, without revealing the identity of the owner of the body, but added that a suspect was arrested.
